About Pracsys

PRACSYS stands for “Physics-aware Research for Autonomous Computational SYStems”; pronounced like the Ancient Greek word for “action” (πρᾱξις), which referred to activity engaged in by free men. Aristotle held that there were three basic activities of man that corresponded to three types of knowledge: theoria (theoretical), poiesis (poetic), and praxis (practical), to which the end goal was action.
